Sputnik

Just recently watched Sputnik (2020) and the alien in that movie immediately became one of my favorite creature designs I've ever seen.

So, I decided to go ahead and sculpt this guy myself and I'm really happy how it turned out despite it being low-poly.
Had a lot of fun exploring frog-like skin surfaces, insect eyes, fang teeth and overall slimy surfaces.
Can't recommend this movie enough to anyone who's really into sci-fi/ horror themed movies, you won't be disappointed!

Time taken: 6 days
Sculpted and retopologized in ZBrush.
Texturized in Substance 3D Painter.
Rendered, rigged and posed in Blender.
Edited in Affinity Designer.
