Rocky - Project Hail Mary

After watching the movie Project Hail Mary I did some personal digging on the descriptions of Eridians (Rocky's species) mentioned in the book written by Andy Weir. To my surprise the description actually differs a little compared to the movie version which gave me some fun material to work with.
Important features for him were: His pentagonal, symmetrical shape, hard (rock-like) carapace, hinge-like joints and a mouth on the bottom side of his body. A fun idea I had was to have cavities around his body which act like ears that catch pressure differences in the air, helping with Rocky's echolocation.
Overall, had a lot of fun figuring out how this eridian looks!
